This is a beta version, so changes will be frequent - please report any problems or errors you find in the forum below.
[There will sometimes be popup messages or other extraneous information  used during development. No need to report these.]

All entries are welcome. To be used in the game:

  • Each treasure should be unique, yet not too obscure - someone must have a reasonable chance to find the item without knowing the city or state. So purely local buildings, ballparks, etc wouldn't qualify.
  • If an animal is unique to a country [eg, panda, lemurs], no further information is needed
  • If an animal is more widespread, include a unique identifier [eg Lilac breasted roller, Etosha]
  • Plants and landscapes can only be used if a specific location is given [eg, 'palm tree, Everglades', or Saguaro Cactus, Organ Pipe National Monument' ]
  • Do not include US state names in the item title [we may spin off a separate game based on states if there's enough interest].

If a picture meets these conditions, it will become available in the game. Other items will remain on this map for now, but may be removed if an area becomes too crowded and more specific item are entered. In each case, a separate page for the item will still be created.

To add, first zoom in to identify your item, be sure to zoom in close enough to pinpoint your item's exact location. Then fill in the popup information.
